Let us now learn Irrational and Real Numbers

Irrational numbers:

• The number is irrational. In mathematics, an irrational number is a real number that cannot be expressed as a ratio of integers, i.e. as a fraction. Therefore, irrational numbers, when written as decimal numbers, do not terminate, nor do they repeat

• .The square roots of numbers that are not perfect squares are irrational numbers.
•   For example:

Square root of 2=  1.4142135623730950488016887242097...

Square root of 3=  1.7320508075688772935274463415059...

Real numbers:

• The collection of numbers we get by putting together rational and irrational numbers is called the collection of real numbers.
• Every rational number is a real number.
• Every irrational number is real number.
• For example:

1.  -14/5
2. 1.316
3. 10.4025
